My name is Rafal but friends call me Dionis.
I'm a biker and a big fan of BMW's Cruiser - the R1200C.

I bestow this model a special feeling because, on the one hand it really stands out from the crowd of ordinary bikes, from the other it distinctly reflects the motorcycle history and heritage of the Munich-based manufacturer.  The materials it had been made of, simple but brilliant solutions and finally the smoothness and ease of riding it sports, despite of quite significant weight (250kg wet) - it all deserves appreciation.
 

My very first "Bond", '00 Avantgarde version, was far from perfection. I would rather say that it presented most of the common issues that plagues this model. After a first season of enjoying the ride I decided to disassemble my beloved cruiser and return its condition to excellence. By the way, I did not miss this great opportunity of customizing the look to fit my taste. However, the main assumption of that renovation was to keep all factory maintain and assembly standards. The process was neither easy, nor inexpensive but the final effect confirmed that it was worth all that time and effort. 

This is how my experience with BMW R1200C and the passion of modifying and restoring motorcycles began.
